What’s the types of bending machine molds (1)

Classification of common bending machine mold

The bending die has several types of bending machines, such as L-shaped, R-shaped, U-shaped, and Z-shaped. The upper die mainly has different angles such as 90 °, 88 °, 45 °, 30 °, 20 °, and 15 °. The lower mold has 4-18V double groove and single groove with different slot widths, as well as R lower mold, acute angle lower mold, flattening mold and so on. The upper and lower molds are divided into sections and overall: the upper mold sections are generally 300mm, 200mm, 100mm, 100mm.50mm, 40mm, 20mm, 15mm, 10mm, overall 835mm, the lower mold is generally divided into 400mm, 200mm, 100mm, 50mm, 40mm, 20mm, 15mm, 10mm, overall is 835mm

①The bending mold is made of steel with special heat treatment. It has the characteristics of high hardness, not easy to wear, and high pressure. However, each set of mold has the ultimate pressure ton / meter, so it is necessary to choose a mold when using the mold. The length, that is, how much pressure to apply per meter, must not exceed the pressure marked on the mold.

② In order not to damage the mold, we have stipulated that when aligning the origin with an upper and lower mold with a length of more than 300mm, the upper and lower molds of the same height can be used. It is strictly forbidden to use the split small mold for the origin, and the origin must be based on the origin pressure inside the AMADA machine.

③When using molds, due to the inconsistencies in the height of various molds, when using a mold on a machine, only the same height mold can be used, and molds of different heights cannot be used.

④ When using the mold, select the appropriate upper and lower molds according to the material hardness, thickness and length of the metal sheet. Generally, the lower mold is used according to the standard of 5 ~ 6T. The length should be longer than the sheet. When the material is harder, For thicker materials, a lower die with a wider groove is used.

⑤ When bending an acute angle or pressing dead angle, the acute angle should be selected at 30 degrees, and then the dead edge should be pressed. When bending the R angle, R upper die and R lower die should be selected.

⑥ When bending long workpieces, do not use a segmented mold to reduce the indentation of the knife, and choose a single groove, because the outer angle R of the V groove of the lower mold of the single groove is large, it is not easy to produce a bending indentation.

When selecting the upper mold, which type of upper mold to use, we should understand the parameters of all the molds, and then decide which upper mold to use according to the shape of the product to be formed.

⑧ When bending products with extremely hard or thick sheets, it is not allowed to use a mold to bend steel or other cylindrical products.

When using the mold, you should be clear-headed, and lock the upper and lower molds after the machine finishes the origin. Don't let the mold fall, hurt people or hurt the mold. During the operation, pay attention to the pressure, and do not apply too much pressure at once. Pay attention to the data changes on the screen.

After using the mold, return it to the mold frame in time, and place it according to the logo. Clean the mold regularly and apply anti-rust oil to prevent rust and reduce the accuracy of the mold.

Upper mold type Appearance Intended main purpose Remarks Straight knife see the figure below for processing angles greater than or equal to 90 Scimitar knife machining angles greater than or equal to 90 See below figure for angles greater than or equal to 30.

Schematic diagram of the shape of the lower mold type Main purpose Remarks Single V lower mold is shown in the following figure 1. When the V-shaped angle is 86 (reference value), an angle greater than or equal to 90 can be processed 2.

When the V-shaped angle is 30 (reference value) At the same time, the lower die used for Xieyi press brakes with an angle greater than 30 can be processed. This type of double-V lower die is shown in the figure below.

Segmentation of bending tools:

Under normal circumstances, the length of the cutter is 835mm; in order to bend different lengths, the entire length of the cutter is often divided into the following sections: 10 + 15 + 20 + 40 + 50 + 100 + 100 + 200 + 300 = 835

Correspondence between plate thickness and slot width:

Conventionally, the slot width is 6 times the plate thickness. The current table of Wanjiayuan's specified plate thickness and slot width is as follows: material thickness (mm) 1.01.21.52.02.5 die width (mm) 6681216.

The minimum bendable size when processing according to the above comparison table (the marked bend size includes the plate thickness):

Plate thickness (mm) 1.01.21.52.0L minimum size during bending (mm) 4.54.768.5Z minimum size during bending(mm) 77.4912

Conventional bending sequence

1. Short side first and long side: Generally speaking, when there are bends on all four sides, folding the short side first and then the long side is beneficial to the processing of the workpiece and the assembly of the bending mold.

2 first periphery then middle: under normal circumstances, it is generally from the periphery of the workpiece to the center of the workpiece

3 Partial and then whole: If there are some structures inside or outside of the workpiece that are different from other bends, generally these structures are first bent before folding other parts

4.Consider the interference and reasonably arrange the bending sequence: the bending sequence is not static, and the processing sequence should be appropriately adjusted according to the shape of the bend or the obstacle on the workpiece
